Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior is free on Steam!
NEWSJun 10, 2022, 6:00 PM

The older and more nostalgic among us will probably remember their time playing Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior, whether it was on arcade, SNES or Playstation. You'll be pleased to know that it's possible to recapture that feeling nowadays and for free. Indeed, the arcade version of the 1991 title is now available to all on Steam. To get it, you'll have to type the name of the game in the search bar and it should appear as free DLC. Because yes, it's actually a DLC for the Capcom Arcade Stadium application. But don't worry; this application is also free and allows you to play old Capcom cult titles for a small price.

It's worth noting that this offer doesn't appear by chance. A few days ago, Capcom announced that Street Fighter 6 would be released in 2023. But that's not all; Capcom has also recently announced the full range of games available for the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, an "update" of the current application. Amongst the titles available, you will find Street Fighter, Megaman, and many other games that were popular in the arcade years. This second application will be released on July 22nd, free of charge, like its predecessor.
