PC gamers might want to think twice before spending, as Valve has just launched its latest storewide Steam promotion. Marking the company’s first major sale of 2026, the Steam Spring Sale is live for seven days, bringing discounts to a huge portion of the platform’s catalog.
The Steam storefront has already been updated with the sale layout, showcasing everything from indie gems to major AAA releases, including various DLC offerings. Valve have their usual event trailer below with some highlights:
Highlighted deals on the front page will change daily, and the current lineup features a mix of popular titles such as Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Palworld, Resident Evil 4, Hades II, Forza Horizon 5, and many more.
The fan-favorite Deep Discounts section has also returned, featuring price cuts of up to 90% to 95% on a selection of well-known classics and indie hits. Among the standout deals are Fallout: New Vegas and Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. Notably, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has reached its lowest price yet since launching in 2019 - far surpassing its previous best discount of 67%, making this an especially striking deal.
For those who prefer curated suggestions, the Discovery Queue is back once again. Each set you complete rewards you with a free chat sticker to use on the platform. However, the older incentive of Steam Trading Cards has yet to return and appears to have been phased out entirely.
The Steam Spring Sale 2026 runs until March 26 at 10 AM PT. After this seasonal event wraps up, the next major sale will arrive in July with the Steam Summer Sale 2026. In the meantime, smaller promotions and demo festivals are expected to fill the gap between these larger events.
