Steam Cooking Fest 2026 kicks off with discounts reaching 90% off

With the Steam Autumn Sale now over, Valve is moving straight into another themed promotion for PC gamers. Steam Cooking Fest is now underway, offering discounts on games centered around preparing meals, managing restaurants, and surviving the occasional kitchen disaster. The event runs until October 19, giving players a week to pick up some culinary-themed favorites at reduced prices.

Valve has also continued its recent approach of announcing sales and events well in advance, helping developers prepare their promotions and giving players a clearer picture of what's coming to the storefront. As usual, Cooking Fest arrives with a tongue-in-cheek trailer hosted by Kaci Aitchison, showcasing some of the games featured in this week's event.

One of the more realistic options is Cooking Simulator, which puts players in charge of a fully equipped professional kitchen. You can follow a chef's career progression or ignore the rules and experiment freely in sandbox mode, where even simple recipes can turn into spectacular messes. The game is currently 75% off, bringing its price down to $4.99 / €4.19 / £3.87.

If you would rather run a restaurant with friends, PlateUp! is worth a look. This cooperative cooking and management game challenges players to prepare meals, serve customers, and keep their restaurant running as the pressure gradually increases. Supporting up to four players, it combines kitchen coordination with restaurant expansion and roguelite-style progression. The game has dropped to $1.99 / €1.95 / £1.67, matching a new historical low on Steam.

Another option for groups looking for culinary chaos is Overcooked! All You Can Eat. This collection brings together the frantic cooperative cooking action of the Overcooked series, challenging players to work together across increasingly ridiculous kitchens. With a 70% discount, it is currently available for $11.99 / €11.99 / £8.99.

These are just a few of the games featured in Steam Cooking Fest, so players interested in the genre may find plenty of other deals worth exploring throughout the promotion.

Steam Cooking Fest ends on October 19, 2026. If any of these discounts look tempting, make sure to pick up your favorites before the event comes to an end. As always, if you’re looking to get the most value from your gaming budget, be sure to browse our dedicated deals hub for the latest offers.
