Sonic Origins to release next June

When SEGA released Sonic The Hedgehog in 1991 on the Mega Drive console, it was with the intention of giving Super Mario franchise a run for its money. More than 30 years later, both franchises have grown following different paths. Each one have a huge community of followers and it's not about a rivalry between SEGA and Nintendo consoles anymore. The fans of the fastest hedgehog on the planet will have the opportunity of reliving their best moments playing classic Sonic games very soon because Sonic Origins finally has a release date. The compilation is set to release on June 23 across all platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. 

Sonic Origins is a pack that contains the remastered version of four iconic games: Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. Each game in the compilation has been remastered and will feature new visuals, gameplay modes, and some surprises. You can play all the games in Classic Mode, which allows you to experience them like they were originally created. Sonic Origins also comes with an Anniversary Mode, which gives you infinite lives, supports full-screen, and will be perfect for those that just want to run through the scenarios collecting rings without any concern. Thwarting Dr. Eggman's plans to conquer the world will be as fun as ever.
