Rage 2 trailer is the epitome of doing it ALL

Avalanche Studios and Bethesda released a new Rage 2 trailer showing their recipe for a perfectly wild and open world shooting game. The game aims for the top with its features, weapons, and combos. In Rage 2, players take on the role of Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland. Your mission is to avenge those who have fallen and to do that, you will have to traverse different scenarios and fight multiple enemies. The game offers you an array of powerful weapons and epic Nanotrite abilities to defeat the different factions, gigantic mutants, and what´s left of the oppressive The Authority. The trailer is titled What is Rage 2? and it showcases the game’s massive number of guns and goofy sense of humor. It also emphasizes the title’s open world, the virtually vibrant and stunning world, and the crazy and violent gunfights in it.

Aside from that, it also sheds light on the gameplay and story of Rage 2. This is big because Avalanche Studios and Bethesda have been tight-lipped about how the story unfolds. In April´s issue from PlayStation's Official Magazine, Odd Ahlgren (narrative director) and Loke Wallmo (senior narrative director) talked about the team’s focus for the game.

“Bethesda and I have been pushing for the story from the beginning as well… They knew that they wanted a strong story component in the game and pushed for that from the beginning.”

It can be expected that Rage 2 will have a sprawling storyline complete with unique backstories from every character you meet in the game like its predecessor, Rage. Rage 2 is scheduled to release on May 14th for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
