Ni No Kuni 2 DLC brings Arena Mode to the game
Developer Level 5 is about to launch Ni No Kuni 2: Tale of a Timeless Tome, a new DLC for their latest RPG adventure Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom. The original game follows the adventures of Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum on his quest to create a new kingdom after losing his castle. With amazing visuals created by Studio Ghibli offers you a great role-playing experience by itself but there is more content to explore beyond that. After expanding the contents Ni No Kuni 2 and improving the combat system with The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC, this new add-on will bring a new story that focuses on a mysterious character that seems to have some connection with the nightmares that are invading people's dreams.
Tale of a Timeless Tome introduces a new type of creature, The Nightmares. They are beings of unknown origin that are haunting people's dreams. King Evan, along with his allies, will have to find out what secret hides behind the apparition of such horrendous creatures and stop them before they manage to cause more harm. Other than the usual powers and skills that our hero has, he will be able to improve his magical abilities through The Magical Companion and also learn to summon sprites to fight for him with Martha's Methods.
Ni No Kuni 2: Tale of a Timeless Tome also brings a new interesting feature to the game, in the form of The Solosseum Slog, a new arena that will allow you to fight to your heart's content, facing waves of different enemies in timed combats to get exclusive rewards. The original game allows you to discover a fantastic world with a great story but if you want to experience by yourself all these novelties, Ni No Kuni 2: Tale of a Timeless Tome is scheduled for launch next week, on March 19, for PC and PlayStation 4. The DLC is the last one included in Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom Season Pass but you can buy it separately too. If you haven´t tried the base game already, remember to check our comparator to get it at the best price.
