Season 4 will kick off next week on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. Like every season, Activision seeks to keep both games fresh with additional content and this time it's adding a new map for the players to put their skills to the test. You can take a good look at Vondel, a new map available, in a video released yesterday during the Summer Game Fest. Activision describes it as "the waterfront district of a Baroque European city where centuries of old-world history blends with modern architectural developments" and it will be playable on Resurgence, DMZ, and the Lockdown LTM, as well as standard Battle Royale in Warzone later in the season. The free-to-play version of Call of Duty will also see the addition of several enhancements.

That's for Warzone, but if you have used our comparator to get your copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 cheap, you will have access to plenty of additional content for the upcoming season. A total of six new multiplayer maps will be available for Season 4, including Showdown, Kunstenaar District, Mercado, Penthouse, Mawizeh Marsh, and Ahkdar Village. Two gameplay modes favorite of the fans are expanding, and you will be able to enjoy Search and Destroy, and Prisoner Rescue matches for 12v12. Remember that you only have one life on these modes, so the experience is quite intense.
Of course, Season 4 will bring plenty of novelties. You will be able to unlock new weapons like the Tempus Razorback assault rifle, the ISO 45 SMG, and the Tonfa. Several new operators will become available including Nikto, Io, Ana Vega, Izanami and Butch. Activision has plans to release even more content through the season and it will spice up things with several events too. Of course, plenty of bundles and cosmetic items will appear in the shop.
With these additions and more, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's new season on June 14. Remember that a new ranked season begins at the same time on Multiplayer and Warzone so you will have to do your best if you want to climb up the ranks once more.
