Meet the Yiga Clan,  your opponents in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is bound to serve as a transition game between The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its sequel, which is rumored to appear at some point in 2021. The game doesn't exactly follow the same pattern as other Legend of Zelda titles and it focuses a bit more on combat. In regards to its story, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will take place quite a few years before the events in Breath of the Wild, and it will serve to expand the lore of the franchise and give relevance to several characters by revealing more about their past. 

In Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, you will be able to play as a few characters that will be quite familiar to you from previous games, like Link, Princess Zelda, Impa, and the Four Champions, Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa. In previous videos published by Nintendo, we could see them fighting and using their powerful abilities to keep enemies at bay in a variety of ways. But Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will also bring some novelties to the story, and one of the most important ones is about the enemies that you will have to face in the game. 

A new Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity video showcases the devious Yiga Clan, whose members, under the lead of Master Kohga, will be the main antagonists to the Hyrulean forces.

Master Kohga and his minions already appeared in Breath of the Wild, but the video leaves us wondering about the identity of the mysterious figure that seems to be aiding them from the shadows. It's likely that we will learn more about it in the upcoming weeks since the release of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is scheduled for November 20 on Nintendo Switch.
