Kingdom Hearts series is coming to PC
Square Enix has surprised everyone with an unexpected announcement that took place yesterday during the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase. A few days ago, the creators of Fortnite revealed that not only there would be more games exclusive to their store this year but also we could expect some surprises. The first one is the launch of the Kingdom Hearts series for the first time on PC, obviously, as an Epic Games Store exclusive.
Kingdom Hearts is one of the most popular video game series among the fans of all things Disney. In the games that have been published over the years, you can play as the most iconic characters of the Disney and Pixar universes and immerse yourself in epic RPG adventures. Characters belonging to Square Enix games and other franchises have been added to the mix in the latest installments and now Kingdom Hearts is a huge universe where you can find quite different worlds.
By the end of next month, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind, and Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will all be available on PC via Epic Games Store exclusively. With those, you will have access to most of the Kingdom Hearts games, as Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix is a collection that includes the remastered HD version of several installments in the series. Even though each of them features a completely different story, most of them share characters, a common universe, and role-playing game mechanics. Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is slightly different though, because it delivers a unique experience that is focused on the music tracks of previous games in the series.
If you are a fan of Kingdom Hearts, you will find all those games at Epic Games Store on March 30.
