Kena: Bridge of Spirits was announced at the beginning of the summer and it made a strong impression with its breathtaking graphics. It must be said that Ember Lab, the studio that is developing the game, was originally specialized in animation and they already created a fan-fiction short film based on Majora's Mask a few years ago. Just as it was announced, Kena: Bridge of Spirits already had a release window, and it was supposed to be coming at the end of this year, more exactly in line with the release of the Playstation 5. But this will not be the case in the end, as Ember Lab has just announced that the release of Kena: Bridge of Spirits has been pushed back to early 2021 via a statement posted on Twitter.

In addition to this postponement, the developers of Kena: Bridge of Spirits have also recently unveiled a host of details about the game to Game Informer, starting with its plot. Kena: Bridge of Spirits will put you in the shoes of Kena who is a sort of guardian or ferryman with the gift of being able to move the wandering spirits from our world to the world of the spirits. She will be accompanied by these little "too cute" beings that we could discover in the trailer released in June, who are called Rot. They are essential to the balance of the world of Kena: Bridge of Spirits and also can help her in various ways, like giving her a hand to reach difficult places or even taking part in combat at her side for example. There will be a total of 100 different Rots that Kena can collect throughout the adventure, but it is important to note that we are not talking about an open-world game.

Information about the performance of the game, including its version on PS5, has also been revealed. You can discover all of this detailed information about the game by visiting Game Informer at this address.

The launch of Kena: Bridge of Spirits is slated for early 2021 on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 and a little later on PC via the Epic Games Store. You will be able to upgrade your PS4 version to PS5 for free.
