Half-Life: Alyx, the G-Man sends us a message

That's it, the holiday season is officially over. Well, not exactly. Since even if there are no more gifts to unpack and the New Year's fireworks have already been fired, the "Happy New Year" will continue to sound throughout the month of January, and you will continue to go wrong by writing the date for a while.

In this regard, quite strange wishes were formulated by a character well known to the fans of the Half-Life series. He is, of course, the G-Man, and this is what he has to say to us:

     “Should old acquaintances be forgotten, then, after so much… time. Some things can prove difficult to remember. See you in the new year. And, do prepare for… consequences, hrm? Mhm.”

This tweet, published without further explanation by Mike Shapiro, the actor who has lent his voice to the G-Man since the beginnings of the Half-Life series, has faced a strong reaction. And it's quite logical since he is probably one of the most mysterious characters in the world of video games. His appearances are always quite brief, and he often carries a briefcase with unknown content, on which we could see the logo of the Black Mesa research center. That and his appearance - he always wears a suit and seems very calm, almost indifferent - is all we know about this character, whose name was also discovered by players in the game files.

His message remains unclear but it confirms what we assumed since the release of the last trailer of Half-Life: Alyx, in which he appears without saying a word. We will certainly have to meet him again in the next installment of the series which will be released in March. But the tweet could also be a teaser for an upcoming trailer or the revelation of new information about the game.
