After years of waiting and speculation, Gearbox has finally confirmed that Borderlands 3 is in the works and they have revealed a video to prove it. The place chosen to show the game for the first time has been PAX East. In the trailer, you can see a lot of both familiar and new faces, as well as a bit of the frenetic action and shootout madness that have made so popular the previous titles in the series.
To be fair, the video won´t give you much information about what will be happening in Borderlands 3 or any new features, but Gearbox has promised to reveal more about the game on April 3rd, so it won't be too long of a wait. But if you think that was the only thing that Gearbox had in store for us you are quite wrong, because they also came up with a couple of surprises yesterday. The first one is the upcoming launch of a Borderlands: Game of the Year edition, a revision of the title that started the series that comes with visual upgrades, new weapons, all of the add-ons and extra contents have been published for the game before and many more surprises. This awesome package will be available on April 3rd too, so you should mark that day in your calendar.
Is that not enough for you? Don´t worry, because Gearbox has also announced another surprise coming on the same day. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Ultra HD is a free texture pack that will improve your visuals to unprecedented levels when you play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
