I've never played the originals, but I liked Moss for what it is: environmental puzzles with some exploration and very light combat. It doesn't get tedious, and the mouse controls are very pleasant. I enjoyed it.

People make a bigger deal about losing VR than it really is. The puzzles and combat were always the main draw and those work exactly the same here. The new cutscenes and camera system show they put effort into the port instead of just removing VR support.
