Claim two free games on Epic, one a highly-rated puzzle favorite

Epic Games is offering 2 free titles, including a highly-rated puzzle game

The Epic Games Store continues its streak of double giveaways. The newest offer has just arrived, taking the place of last week’s giveaways of Hidden Folks and Totally Reliable Delivery Service. PC gamers can now claim copies of Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge and Strange Horticulture. As usual, you have a week to permanently add these new games to your Epic Games Store library on PC.

Focusing on Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge first, this unique indie game allows you to become a caretaker for frogs. It’s described as a "cozy frog collecting game centered around farming and preserving the environment," and your task is to restore land to create a sanctuary for frogs. This task includes enlisting the help of NPCs, photographing distinct frog species to boost your reputation, and even breeding unique types.

To achieve this goal, the wetlands must be returned to their original condition, introducing farming and crafting systems into the game. You’ll be digging ponds, harvesting various types of plants, selling products, and customizing the frog refuge in any way you desire. This is a solely single-player experience that was released just last year.

Next up, Strange Horticulture presents its puzzle-solving gameplay with an occult twist, placing you in the role of a shopkeeper at a local plant store. Set in the enchanting town of Undermere, customers arrive seeking unusual plants, which you need to gather from the nearby woods and mountains.

The giveaways for Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge and Strange Horticulture are currently available on the Epic Games Store, running until August 28. PC gamers can acquire both games for free during this one-week window before the next batch of free titles is announced. It has also been disclosed that Machinarium and Make Way will feature in the following giveaway.
