Assassin’s Creed Odyssey's upcoming expansion consists of three episodes, all part of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass. Ubisoft has revealed that this expansion, called Story Arc 2: The Fate of Atlantis will be spread across three episodes, beginning with Fields of Elysium. Launching on April 23 this DLC will let you explore the idyllic afterlife full of Greek myths. According to Ubisoft’s announcement, the following two episodes will go deeper into “the great mysteries that lie within the ancient realm of the gods”. They will feature gods and mythological beasts to meet and battle. Here is the official statement about the DLC:
"As the story of Fields of Elysium unfolds, players will traverse the paradise of Elysium, a realm of great beauty, to reveal sinister secrets while facing against the might of the Isu. Players will encounter both new factions and familiar characters, and acquire new legendary weapons and gear."
Players will have to complete the questline "Between Two Worlds", the main game story arc, and also the "Heir of Memories" and the "Lost Tales of Greece" questlines that opens up after completing the previous quest line. Finally, they must have reached character level 28 or above. However, you can use a shortcut to skip some of the pre-requisites that will let you enter Greece with level 52 with preset abilities and resources, enabling you to start your adventure into the afterlife with the Lost Tales of Greece questline Heir of Memories. You will also have the opportunity to choose your hero. However, contrary to the previous option, players’ progression using the shortcut will not carry over to the main game save, and they will not be able to obtain achievements.
Of course, players will get new weapons and gear in each episode and a new set of ability enhancements. Ability enhancements will ley players alter the effects of existing skills and skill tree branches that are already available for Hunter, Warrior, and Assassin. Second and third episodes will follow Fields of Elysium at some point mid-2019 and they will be called Torment of Hades and Judgment of Atlantis.
