Assassin's Creed Valhalla's expansion won't be ready this month

Even though Ubisoft has made quite a good job with Assassin's Creed Valhalla it's having some problems meeting the schedule with its upcoming DLC. Wrath of the Druids was announced in February along with other post-launch content that would be included in Assassin's Creed Valhalla Season Pass. A few updates for the game have been released for the game after that, and we have seen the addition of River Raids, an option to customize Eivor's looks in the game, and also the Ostara Festival, a seasonal event reminiscent of Easter. Wrath of the Druids is the first paid expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla and it's included in the season pass, along with the Siege of Paris and The Legend of Beowulf

The expansion will allow Eivor to explore brand new locations in Ireland, following a story that focused on an ancient druidic sect. Not many details other details about the DLC have been revealed but we were expecting to be able to play it this month, as its release was originally scheduled for April 29. Ubisoft seems to be having some troubles with the development and the expansion won't be ready in time according to a Tweet on the official Assassin's Creed account.

It seems that they are working to "deliver a more refined experience" with Wrath of the Druids but nothing else has been said about the cause for this delay or the current state of the expansion, and we do not have a new release date either. We hope that Ubisoft makes Wrath of the Druids available as soon as possible and we do not doubt that it will contribute to making Assassin's Creed Valhalla an adventure even more epic for the players. Meanwhile, the game still offers you plenty of content to explore as you lead a group of Vikings during the invasion of England in the 9th Century.
