The Summer Game Fest reveals part of its calendar

With the current situation around the coronavirus and the restrictions applies in many countries, the organization of events has suffered a notable impact. Precisely, two of the biggest events in the field of video games have unfortunately been canceled. We are, of course, talking about the E3, which was to take place in early June, and the Gamescom in August.

But that does not mean that we will be completely deprived of them. Although the E3 has been canceled, the Gamescom will be held as an online version. In parallel, several other events, also online, are already planned, such as the EA Play, the Future Games Show organized by GamesRadar, the IGN Summer of Gaming, or the Summer Game Fest, which was announced last week by Geoff Keighley.

On the Summer Game Fest's program there are revelations of new games, gameplay presentations, but also in-game events and even playable content in the form of demos, alphas, and betas. The event brings together all these announcements, and it will take place from May until August. Obviously, there will not necessarily be new content every day, but the Summer Game Fest should bring together interesting announcements, given the list of publishers and studios that have already confirmed their participation. The website has also been updated and itshows some dates to remember.

The first is tomorrow, of course, with the Inside Xbox that will take place at 5 p.m. CEST, which will reveal some Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay on Xbox Series X, and we are hoping for some other games. Then, on May 12, a "surprise" game will be unveiled at 8 p.m. by Geoff Keighley in person.

Other dates already have been added to the Summer Game Fest calendar, and more will be added soon. The trailer also shows a number of games like Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part II, Senua's Saga Hellblade II, which is the sequel to Hellblade: Senuas's Sacrifice, Psychonauts 2, Gods and Monsters, and many more.
