Wild Hearts gets a 7-minutes action trailer

Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo want to enter the big dog fight. In this case, giant monsters. The developer has released a gameplay trailer with no less than seven minutes of footage, showing the long duel between a well-equipped samurai and a gigantic, monstrous boar that changes shape as the fight progresses.

During the fight, the player is assisted by two others, each with his weapon of choice. Besides exciting combos, the hunters also used gadgets to expand their assets, such as a platform to climb the beast, an instant catapult, or a reinforced wall. The gameplay seems to be more fast-paced, as was the case with Monster Hunter Rise.

Wild Hearts is set in a fantastical feudal Japan. It will put players to hunt the Kemono, giant beasts that have undergone a unique evolution that has allowed them to merge with their environment and use the power of nature to change the world in their favor. In your mission to exterminate them, you can use the Karakuri - sophisticated mechanisms designed to fight the monsters and travel the world.

You can enjoy your hunt alone or in cooperative multiplayer with two other friends, expanding your battle plan, building more elaborate traps, and enabling special missions. Kemono come in all shapes and sizes, so the more chances you have against them, the better.
