Square Enix announces a new Life is Strange game
We are now used to seeing publishers or development studios organize their own online events to present their latest news. This trend has been around for a few years now, but it has intensified since last year with the cancellation of many events. It looks like Square Enix has decided to host its own and made a surprise social media announcement yesterday.
Under the name of Square Enix Presents, the Japanese giant's online event will take place very soon, specifically on March 18 at 6 p.m. KST. The main attraction of the evening will be the reveal of a new Life is Strange game, but we can also find Outriders, Marvel's Avengers, and Balan Wonderworld in the line-up. You probably also know that it will also be the 25th birthday of our favorite archaeologist soon, and we already have an idea of what Square Enix has in store for us on that matter. Indeed, a brand new Tomb Raider trilogy bringing together Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider was leaked on the Microsoft Store, and everything seems to indicate that it will be available very soon.
Let's gooo!

Debuting March 18 at 10AM PDT, the first digital-direct #SquareEnixPresents the world premiere of the next @LifeisStrange, with a 40-min lineup set of new trailers & announcements from many of our upcoming titles https://t.co/IgHkawSCaE pic.twitter.com/VNYDFdoikR
Getting back to the headliner, it seems that the new Life is Strange game "will feature a whole new protagonist and a fascinating new power." At first glance, it doesn't seem like this new installment has anything to do with Life is Strange or Life is Strange 2, as they also have different protagonists, Maxine, and Sean and Daniel respectively.
It's quite possible that other surprises about Square Enix Montreal studios and TAITO will be revealed during the event. If you want to follow the Square Enix Presents event live, you can visit the dedicated website or watch it on Twitch and Youtube.
