Obduction and Offworld Trading Company are free on PC

This week, all gamers have the opportunity to expand their library of games, with no less than four titles, entirely free. Yesterday we told you about Syberia and Syberia 2, which are currently available on GOG, but you can get two more titles without paying a dime. As you might expect, these are the two games of the week on the Epic Games Store, and this time they are Obduction and Offworld Trading Company.

The former, Obduction, is a critically acclaimed independent sci-fi adventure game. The game's story is quite enigmatic and will reveal itself to you as you progress. In Obduction, you play as a character who witnesses a mysterious organic artifact fall to Earth while walking by a lake. But before he can say 'wow', he is transported to an unknown place, somewhere in the universe. This is the basic premise of Obduction, and your goal is to get back home. To accomplish this, you have to solve a variety of puzzles of several kinds, all presented in the manner of an investigation where you have to gather clues. 

The second game you can pick up for free is Offworld Trading Company, a real-time strategy game created by the creators of Civilization IV. In this game, the colonization of Mars is a reality, and the commercial stakes are high. Everyone wants a piece of the cake and companies will do anything to make a profit. If others are doing it, there's no reason why you shouldn't be. Offworld Trading Company lets you create and maintain a real trading empire by managing all aspects of it and competing with rival companies, of course. Offworld Trading Company features a challenging single-player campaign, but you can also challenge other players in games for up to 8 players in total.

Obduction and Offworld Trading Company are quite different, but both are excellent games, and they will be available for free on the Epic Games Store until next week.
