Man gets an awesome reward for returning Starcraft source code to Blizzard

Starcraft source code is found by a guy accidentally and Blizzard rewards him for sending it back to them.

Finding in a place where it shouldn't be the source code of an iconic game of one of the most important video game companies is not something that happens every day. That's what the Reddit user Khemist49 must have thought when after purchasing a "box of Blizzard stuff" on eBay where he unexpectedly found a Gold Disc labeled as StarCraft Gold Master Source Code. This disc from 1998 contained Blizzard's real-time strategy title source code and it's the last thing one would expect to find in a box of assorted stuff. After the initial shock, the guy decided to share it on Reddit asking for advice about it.

The disc would have probably been worth a lot as a collector's item, but he decided to send it back to the game developing company, where they probably were even more shocked than him after finding out that something like that ended misplaced and lost. We don't know if they are doing some investigation about how the disc ended there, but we know that the guy returning the disc was contacted by a Blizzard's representative and received an awesome reward from Blizzard as thanks, including a free copy of Overwatch, $250 in Blizzard Store credit, an all-expenses-paid trip to the BlizzCon and some assorted peripherals and collectables from other games that got mailed to him afterwards.

“I didn’t know what to say, I was shocked, I expected nothing more than the free game and the store credit… After I thanked him 1,000 times he said oh by the way you should also be receiving something in the mail!”, he wrote.

He definitely made the right decision and he's going to enjoy his reward trip to the event for it, but what would you have done if you were him?
