Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, a new video presents the Gunfight gameplay

Revealed to the general public just days before its presentation at E3 with a first trailer, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gives us news. The reboot of the first game of the Modern Warfare series presents the Gunfight mode today. Until now we had only seen images of the single-player campaign but we already knew that the multiplayer would appear sooner or later. We also learned that this title is more realistic and more down to earth, that is the reason why Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will not include a zombies mode, which seems rather logical. But rest assured that the brand new Gunfight mode will not be lacking action. The principle of Gunfight is quite simple; it consists of matches composed of 40-seconds rounds which pit two teams of two players in a small map. The first team to accumulate 6 points wins the game. During these rounds, players have only one life and health does not regenerate. The video shows three different maps: Pine, which is in a wooded area, King, a disused warehouse, and Stack, which looks like a former military base in a desert area.

To learn more about the Gunfight mode, it will be necessary to wait until August 1st. Activision announced recently on its blog the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Gameplay Premiere." This is a live broadcast that will take place on Twitch and will present the multiplayer universe of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The content has not been specified beyond that, but we can easily imagine that we will have more information about the Gunfight mode and hopefully, other multiplayer modes. You have an appointment on Call of Duty's official Twitch channel on August 1st at 7 pm CEST to learn more.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare seems to have attracted a lot of interest since its announcement last May, although the presentation that was shown to the press during the E3 created discomfort among some of the journalists present. Indeed, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is more realistic than ever, both in terms of graphics and gameplay, and if we believe these reactions, the game will be great. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One on October 25th. To find it at the best price, visit our comparator.
