Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is not the end of the series

The release of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy tomorrow will bring back one of the most cherished series released by Nintendo which also took detective video games to new heights. The compilation includes the second trilogy of games in the series and follows the steps of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. The developer studio has used the RE Engine to recreate the games with enhanced graphics adapting them to new platforms and keeping all the flavor and the visual style from the original games.

With Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, a new main character is introduced in the series but the three games in the new compilation follow the same pattern as its predecessors. You are an attorney who has to investigate certain crimes and defend your innocent clients in a court of law. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy includes all fourteen episodes in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, but also two extra episodes that were released as DLC. By owning both compilations, you will have access to all the content released in the main Ace Attorney series.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy does not mark the end of the popular series. Producer Kenishi Hashimoto revealed in a recent interview that there will be more Ace Attorney titles coming when asked about the possibility of using the RE Engine to create new games for the series.

“There’s nothing I can tell you at the moment, but we’ve certainly gained knowledge about making adventure games with RE Engine. However, Ace Attorney will never end as a series, so in that sense, I hope you’ll look forward to hearing more news.”

His answer does not imply that we will be seeing any Ace Attorney video game announced anytime soon and the fans will have to stick to Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy and its predecessor to enjoy the series for a while.
