AMD teases the Radeon RX 9060 XT ahead of its anticipated reveal at Computex

AMD has begun to hint at their upcoming RDNA 4 graphics card, presenting a render that is likely of a Radeon RX 9060 XT. Previously, AMD indicated that they intend to unveil “key products” at Computex 2025, which includes new GPU hardware. 

Unfortunately, AMD’s teaser describes their depicted GPU as an “artistic render,” indicating that this GPU will “not be available for purchase.” This implies that AMD does not plan to launch a reference Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card. Instead, this GPU will solely be offered through AMD’s AIB partners. PC gamers will not be able to buy a Radeon RX 9060 XT that resembles AMD’s official render.

AMD's presentation at Computex 2025 is scheduled for May 21st at 11 a.m. Taipei time, which translates to 8 p.m. on May 20th Pacific Time. At this event, we anticipate updates on the company’s FSR 4 technology, which will be compatible with AMD’s new RDNA 4 GPUs. Additionally, we expect to see new AMD-powered gaming handhelds and various other products.

There are rumors suggesting that AMD will also introduce its Ryzen Threadripper 9000 series at Computex 2025, emphasizing AMD’s strength in this CPU market segment.

While nothing has been officially announced, leaks, rumors, and even early retail listings have confirmed various details regarding AMD's latest mainstream gaming GPU. Similar to the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, AMD aims to launch the Radeon RX 9060 XT in both 8GB and 16GB variants, although it will feature slower GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit bus. However, a recent leak indicates that the GPU will utilize all 16 PCIe 5.0 lanes to prevent performance issues on older PCIe 4.0 systems.
