Crashout Crew: Aggro Crab’s wild new co-op adventure revealed
After taking the indie world by storm with Peak, developer Aggro Crab is gearing up for its next wild co-op adventure, Crashout Crew. The studio—known for its quirky humor and chaotic multiplayer gameplay—announced the new title as a four-player cooperative experience where players take on the roles of forklift operators in a hectic warehouse-turned-racetrack.
Players will team up as members of DE NILE SHIPPING, proudly dubbed “the world’s most efficient warehouse,” though that title seems more ironic than factual. Each mission—called a Contract—tasks players with organizing shipments, navigating tight corners, and completing deliveries at breakneck speeds. The forklifts can drift, boost, and crash spectacularly, turning the workplace into a demolition derby of pure comedy.
Crashout Crew Demo Arrives October 13 During Steam Next Fest
The first demo for Crashout Crew will debut during Steam Next Fest on October 13, letting players try out the opening Contracts and experience its blend of teamwork, chaos, and physics-based mayhem. Safety Violations—optional modifiers that crank up the difficulty and absurdity—will also feature in the demo, giving fans a taste of the unpredictable challenges that await.
Despite Aggro Crab’s focus on Crashout Crew, fans can rest easy knowing Peak isn’t being abandoned. The studio confirmed that Peak remains in active development, with more updates and new content planned. Interestingly, both Peak and Crashout Crew were conceived during the same internal game jam—proof that even creative experiments can turn into major hits for the studio.
Aggro Crab’s resurgence marks a remarkable turnaround after a canceled project earlier this year left its future uncertain. Now, the developer is not only maintaining momentum with Peak’s continued success but also expanding its footprint in the co-op gaming space with another promising title.
