2K Sports announces a patch to fix WWE 2K20 problems
It's really bad to find out that the game you have been expecting to enjoy and that have cost you your hard-earned money is a bug-ridden mess. If we are talking about a game that is the flagship and the main representation in the world of video games of professional wrestling, then it's more of a grievous offense than just an annoyance. We don't have a clue about the reasons that 2K Sports could have to publish WWE 2K20 in its current state, but the game is plagued with bugs. Even if those can look funny to watch, (there are even Reddit threads compiling images of the bugs), the fun disappears really fast if you are the one who bought the game.
The increasing number of complaints has forced the developers to react, and now they have announced that a patch will fix most of those problems.

The patch is supposedly coming in a couple of weeks, but if you own the game and have been suffering all those problems, you probably realize that they are nothing that can be completely fixed with a simple patch, and maybe not even with the series of updates that they have announced.
It seems that there are many players that do not really trust this statement from the developers because there are reports of Sony already issuing refunds to unhappy WWE 2K20 players on PlayStation 4.
We really hope that WWE 2K20 is fixed for real and as soon as possible, but we can't stop wondering if all this was really needed. We all know that deadlines are a very important factor in the development of a game, even more in the case of franchises that are tied to seasonal sports. But if the game, as proven, really needed more development time, what do you gain making your fans and player base unhappy by delivering a product that doesn't meet their quality expectations? None of the developers in Visual Concepts played their own game before releasing it? Didn't they realize that it was very different than what they were advertising in the video below?
