Void Bastards will launch on Nintendo Switch
Although there's not been any official announcement yet, it's quite safe to assume that the sci-fi first-person shooter from Blue Manchu is coming to Nintendo Switch. You can get to this conclusion as a result of the appearance of the game in the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), which shows Void Bastards as playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. No other information on this matter has been released so far, but the publication clearly indicates that the game should be available on Nintendo Switch soon. This is great news for all those that have experienced what Void Bastards has to offer in other platforms and want to take advantage of the portable capabilities of the hybrid console from Nintendo, but also for those that have not tried the game yet.
In Void Bastards you are an inmate, one of the many rehydrated prisoners trapped in a stranded spaceship. You are just a tool that the artificial intelligence of the ship uses in order to gather fuel and reach its final destination. To do so, you will be sent on missions to explore other spaceships that you will encounter as you navigate through the Sargasso Nebula. You will have to gather fuel for your spaceship and resources to survive and craft a variety of weapons and tools. With those, you will have to fight against all kinds of alien lifeforms that will threaten your life during your travels. But don´t worry if you die, because there are more prisoners ready to replace you...
With its dark humor, roguelike mechanics, and a very particular comic-book art style, Void Bastards is a very entertaining game that will be a perfect addition to the catalog of games available on Nintendo Switch. It's likely that the Switch version will include all the free updates released on other platforms but until an official statement is given on the matter we won't know if it will also include the Bang Tydy DLC, which comes with tew types of ships to explore, a new enemy and a new weapon among other novelties.
