Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order receives a big update

Star Wars Day was celebrated yesterday all over the world by a huge amount of fans of the franchise. All kinds of events took place and some of the video games inspired by the popular science fiction franchise have used the celebration as an opportunity to launch promotions and gift the players with special rewards. In the case of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Respawn Entertainment has released a pretty big free update for the game that comes with a few unexpected but welcome additions, including a new game plus mode, combat challenges, and some other surprises.

The New Journey + mode in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is similar to those present in other games although you will have to unlock all of Cal's skills again as you play through the game again with increased difficulty. You will keep all the cosmetic items unlocked for Cal but any chests that you have opened during your initial playthrough will stay empty. As a bonus reward, you will receive the Inquisitor outfit for Cal as well as a pair of new lightsabers and a red kyber crystal to change the color of your weapon.

The new Meditation Training mode allows you to put Cal's abilities to test against waves of enemies in a variety of scenarios. There are twelve of them available right now and depending on your performance you will get a star rating that ranges from 1 to 3. Just by obtaining 12 stars, you will unlock three different skins for your trusty droid companion BD-1. To access Meditation Training mode you will need to complete Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order campaign before since the scenarios have been designed for players that have mastered the combat system in the game first.

But if you want to design your own challenges, you can do it as well. All you need to do is going to the Battle Grid mode and creating a custom scenario. Then proceed to add any combination of enemies to it and you will just have to adjust the difficulty of the challenge for it to be ready.

All of this extra content is free for all players that own Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. If you don't have it yet, you can find it at the best price on our comparator.
