Dirt Rally 2.0 honors Colin McRae with its new DLC

It's no secret that Colin McRae has been one of the keys to the initial success of the rally racing series that started sharing his name and we all know today as Dirt. Codemasters launched the first game of the series in 1998 and since then a good dozen videogames have been released to delight the fans of competitive rally racing. A major change occurred in 2007 when the license abandoned the name of the Scottish multi-champion to be simply known as Dirt. The latest title in the series is Dirt Rally 2.0, which was released on February 25, 2019, and that continues to give great moments to the players, including new features and better simulation options to enhance gameplay and increase the fun of driving at top speed through challenging rally courses all over the world.

Codemasters has announced a new DLC for Dirt Rally 2.0 and it's dedicated to Colin McRae.

The Flat Out pack for Dirt Rally 2.0 will let players relive some of the most important moments in the career of Colin McRae, adding 40 new scenarios that highlight some of his most relevant races. The DLC also gives you access to the iconic Subaru Impreza S4 Rally that Colin McRae used to win many championships. The Flat Out pack also expands your offroad driving options in the game adding 12 new routes that will take you through the landscapes of Scotland's Perth and Kinross.

Dirt Rally 2.0 Flat Out Pack will be available for free to all the owners of the Season Pass on March 24, but it can also be purchased separately on the same date. Even if you don't think of buying the expansion pack, Dirt Rally 2.0 still offers you the best offroad racing simulation with more than 50 of the most powerful cars ever built and six different racing locations. It's also the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship, and it allows players to create and develop their own team as they progress through the competition, offering the most complete experience in the genre.
