Steam Replay 2025 is now live with a recap of your PC gaming year

Steam Replay 2025 arrives with a full gaming recap and a collectible badge

It’s time for the ultimate wrap-up: Steam Replay 2025 is now available, packed with stats to see just how much you’ve been gaming this year. Much like year-end recaps from services such as Spotify and YouTube, this feature lets users explore statistics on their gaming habits. The generated stats page can be kept private, shared with friends, or made public, offering flexibility in how users showcase their year.

The Steam Replay 2025 begins by highlighting the total number of games played, which includes brand-new purchases, demos, and play tests. It also provides a comparison to the user's game count from 2024. This initial focus provides a quick snapshot of the user's engagement level and how their activity has changed year-over-year on the Steam platform. And you’ll even get a fresh badge added to your Steam profile for checking it all out.

Further breakdowns are presented through various fancy graphs and pie charts. These visual aids display a user's most-played games, the number of achievements unlocked, and a month-by-month analysis of their playtime. Gamers who consistently played every day will also see their impressive daily streak number, celebrating their dedication to the platform.

For privacy-conscious users, the Replay tool ensures that any playtime spent on titles marked as private will not be displayed in the public-facing section. According to Valve, the 2025 Steam Replay uses data collected between January 1 and December 14. It is important to note that games played in Steam’s offline mode are not included in the calculation.

Only games are counted in the Replay, with any background apps or tools being excluded from the statistics. Users can share their recap via a custom-generated link or a dedicated share button on the page. Additionally, the entire Steam 2025 Replay can be added as a permanent Showcase to the user’s personal Steam profile page for easy access and viewing by others.

As always, be sure to visit our free games page and keep an eye out for upcoming titles and special offers.
