AMD has made updates on its website mentioning an upcoming gaming CPU named the Ryzen 7 9850X3D. This supports earlier leaks about a scheduled Zen 5 X3D refresh from AMD. This refresh is said to introduce two new gaming CPUs, the Ryzen 7 9850X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D2.

Speculation has been circulating for some time suggesting this possibility, and it is believed that the Ryzen 9850X3D may achieve a boost speed of 5.6GHz, which is 400MHz higher than the current Ryzen 9800X3D—this represents a significant increase.
