NVIDIA GeForce 560.94 driver released with game-ready support for Black Myth: Wukong and more
The most recent GeForce Game Ready 560.94 WHQL driver is an important update for PC gamers. It's highly recommended to install this update as soon as possible, as it provides day-one support for major AAA PC releases that utilize RTX technologies.
An example is Black Myth: Wukong, which comes with Full Ray Tracing and DLSS 3 support. This game has been setting records on Steam as one of the largest single-player games ever. Take a look at the RTX trailer to experience the enhanced visuals in the game.
Black Myth: Wukong was released yesterday and has already been breaking records on Steam. It is now the most popular single-player video game on the Steam platform. The game is an RPG based on Chinese mythology, with the main character battling against a variety of mythical creatures. This is one of the most visually advanced games out there, running on Unreal Engine 5 and featuring full ray tracing/path tracing for lighting and caustics.
Then there's Star Wars Outlaws, the first open-world game set in the iconic universe, featuring Ray Tracing, DLSS 3.5, and Reflex. Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming open-world Star Wars game set to launch on August 30. Developed by Ubisoft, the game is set between the time of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The new title will include DLSS 3.5, including Ray Reconstruction and Nvidia's RTX Dynamic Illumination, to enhance the game's ray-traced reflections and global illumination.
Additionally, the update provides support for the surprise Final Fantasy XVI Demo, finally coming to PC, and arriving with DLSS 3, DLAA, and Reflex. Furthermore, the latest driver also supports Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and the new multiplayer PlayStation hero shooter, Concord. Concord also includes DLSS 3 and Reflex support to enhance performance, while Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is launching with DLSS Super Resolution support.
The most recent driver also supports some new hardware, the GeForce RTX 4070 equipped with GDDR6 memory instead of GDDR6X. NVIDIA indicates that these revised models will commence shipping in September and offer "similar performance in games and applications."
