Developed by Studio Plane Toast, Caravan SandWitch is a combat-free open-world adventure set on the colorful, post-apocalyptic planet of Cigalo. You play as Sauge, a young woman who returns to her home planet after receiving a mysterious distress signal from her missing sister.

Rather than throwing enemies and constant danger at you, Caravan SandWitch takes a much more relaxed approach. Your trusty van is the star of the show as you drive across Cigalo, explore abandoned ruins, collect scrap, meet survivors, and investigate what happened to Sauge's sister.

There's no combat, death, or timer to worry about, meaning you can explore the world entirely at your own pace. As you progress, you'll discover humans, indigenous species, and abandoned robots while helping the people you encounter along the way.

Your van can also be upgraded with new tools and abilities, allowing you to reach previously inaccessible locations and uncover more of Cigalo's secrets. Environmental puzzles and exploration provide most of the challenge, making this a particularly appealing choice for anyone who wants something more laid-back.

Caravan SandWitch currently holds a Very Positive rating on Steam, with players generally praising its charming world and relaxing gameplay. The adventure is relatively short, and its usual $24.99 / 24,99€ / £21.99. price may seem a little steep for its length, but that's not really a concern when Epic is handing it out for free.

The latest giveaway is available until August 20 on the Epic Games Store, giving you seven days to permanently add Caravan SandWitch to your library.
