Electronic Arts has announced that the next expansion for Star Wars Battlefront will be available on September 20th. The Death Star will be the third DLC for the shooter developed by DICE and it will include new maps, heroes, Star Cards and weapons. You can watch a livestream preview of the expansion tomorrow at 11AM PDT during Star Wars Celebration event.

Along with the expansion, announcement DICE has revealed that next week a new Skirmish mode will be available. It's the name for the offline mode that players have been asking for. You will be able to play in solo mission or in cooperative mode against bots with two different difficulty modes. "With multiple locations that span the galaxy, from the frozen planet of Hoth to the lava encrusted planet of Sullust, we hope Skirmish brings players a new way to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront," explained Star Wars Battlefront lead designer Dennis Brannvall. Star Wars Battlefront Death Star DLC is included in the Season Pass for those that own it or you can buy it separatedly if you want.
