Epic Games Store is giving away two free titles this week

Claim two games for free in this week’s Epic Games Store promotion

The Epic Games Store updates its giveaway promotion each Thursday, which means it's the perfect opportunity to claim new games. The current offerings are Eastern Exorcist and Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy. As usual, you have a week to permanently add the latest indie games to your Epic Games Store library.

First up in the double giveaway is Eastern Exorcist. This hand-drawn 2D side-scrolling action RPG emphasizes Chinese mythology. As implied by the name, you assume the role of an exorcist who battles demons and spirits in a world inspired by ink paintings, featuring cutscenes described as operatic. Released in 2021, this title is developed by the Chinese team Wildfire Game.

If you have the Epic Games Store mobile app, you can also access this game for free on Android and iOS at the moment.

Simultaneously, the next title, entertainingly titled Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy, is based on the acclaimed Brazilian cartoon featuring Jorel’s Brother. This 2023 release is a point-and-click adventure where players control an eight-year-old boy living in the shadow of his famous sibling.

When this unnamed character discovers a mysterious video game that descends from the sky, he embarks on a quest confronting alien spaceships, authoritarian clowns, extraterrestrial bureaucracy, and strange mini-games.

The giveaways for Eastern Exorcist and Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy on the Epic Games Store are currently available and will continue until October 2. PC gamers can acquire these titles for free during the seven-day period before the next giveaways arrive. Speaking of what's next, an open-world survival crafting game titled Nightingale is set to be the forthcoming free title on the same date.
