A Spotify Gift Card is used to upgrade your subscription service to Premium for a certain amount of time on Spotify. The cards only work to continue paying your individual Premium plan or to upgrade a free Spotify account to Premium. You can't use a gift card on discounted plans like Premium Student, Premium Family, Premium Duo, or trial offers.

Spotify Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Once activated, the card starts on your plan’s next payment date or immediately if you’ve upgraded from a free account. You can stack a maximum of 18 months of Premium time on your account.

Spotify Premium gives you access to several services inside the music streaming platform, including the possibility of downloading your favorite music and listening to it without advertisements.
