Developer 11 Bit Studios' Frostpunk: Console Edition is getting a summer release on Xbox One and PS4. Frostpunk was originally released for PC on April last year and the gaming community just couldn’t get enough of it. It was such a hit that it sold a whopping quarter of a million copies in less than three days! The positive reception of Frostpunk was very much deserved. The game is fascinating and unique. The gaming experience is stellar with the mixed elements of brutal survival and the familiar city building, and most especially the strong narrative set in the post-apocalyptic world. Players will have to make the wisest decisions they can come up with in order to survive. It’s the perfect recipe for an epic game worthy of praise.
Frostpunk: Console Edition is a survival game where every decision matters. The game will have the same gameplay system that it has on the PC version but this time, it will be more tailored towards Xbox One and PS4 to improve the gaming experience. 11 Bit Studios’ Karol Zajaczkowski told VG247 that they made the game for people who haven’t played any strategy games on consoles in the past. The game isn’t there to make your life miserable, it’s not created for consoles to frustrate the players. Frostpunk: Console Edition is a great challenge that can be overcome using your skills, and if you are having too much trouble finishing it you can always go to the custom scenario mode and adjust the gameplay features according to your liking. This console edition will also include all the previous updates released for the PC version of Frostpunk. It will include The Fall of Winterhome scenario, Endless mode, additional customization options, balance tweaks, and some difficulty settings. The developer announced that there will also be additional content updates for the game in the upcoming months.
