Reserve your characters’ names for World of Warcraft Classic

The day has finally arrived. The release of World of Warcraft Classic is around the corner, and a multitude of players are eagerly waiting to start adventuring in Azeroth once more and experience the game like it was when it originally launched in 2004. World of Warcraft has become a completely different game over the years. The game was completely different from all the others MMORPG when it came out, and it swiftly attracted a huge player base that grew up until making it the most popular game in the genre, a position that it still maintains today.

You can call it nostalgia, but the truth is that the number of players that will be playing World of Warcraft Classic is quite high. On one hand, you can find old players that would like to relive their past experiences. That includes those still subscribed to the game and the returning ones. On the other, you can find players that didn´t get to experience World of Warcraft's beginnings. It is yet to be seen if the classic experience will be good enough for today's WoW players because the game has changed so much over the years that many of those will not be able to stand socializing with others to play an MMORPG. Sadly enough World of Warcraft has been made so accessible to the players with mechanics to look for raid and group that it has led to players not needing to even talk to others at all to play the game. Taking an effort on having a good reputation in the game, so you are invited to groups is going to be a brand new experience for many players.

Whether you are an experienced World of Warcraft player or not, if you are planning on giving a try to Classic and you want to reserve the name for your characters you need to do it today. The servers will be crowded for a while after launch, and it´s quite likely that your favorite names will be already taken if you don't get them first. From August 12 at 15:00 PDT / August 13 at 00:00 CEST players with an active subscription or game time on their World of Warcraft account will be able to create up to three characters per World of Warcraft account and have the name(s) reserved before World of Warcraft Classic releases worldwide on August 27.
