Epic Games announces Transistor as the upcoming free game in their store
It´s pretty obvious that Epic Games has launched an all-out assault on Steam's supremacy in the world of video games digital distribution. More and more titles keep becoming exclusive to Epic Game Store lately, but that´s not the only way that Fortnite´s creators are using to bring attention to their store. They are also giving away a different free game every two weeks. So far we have been able to get titles like Subnautica, Super Meat Boy or What Remains of Edith Finch, and now they have announced that the next one in the list will be Transistor, which you will be able to get for free from April 18th to May 2nd.

Transistor is a beautiful sci-fi role-playing game developed by the creators of Bastion. It's an action adventure that follows the story of Red, a famous singer who gets dragged into a conflict with a robotic force, the Process. After a failed assassination attempt on her, Red ends losing her voice and in possession of a mysterious sword called Transistor, which is able to absorb the consciousness of its victims to empower itself. Now, all that is left for her is facing the leaders of the Process, a group known as the Camerata that is chasing her to recover Transistor and put an end to her life. Also, in case you missed it, you can still get The Witness for free until April 18th at Epic Games Store. It´s a puzzle adventure where you will get to explore an island. As you solve over 500 puzzles present in the game you will unlock access to different areas of the island, ultimately getting to discover all of the island's secrets.

To claim those games for free, all you have to do is visit Epic Games Store and log in to your account or create a new one if you do not have one yet.
