Im a happy customer: Easy, fast (I took less than 5 minutes to open a new account, buy the game and activate it on Steam), the game worked without a problem in Steam ... They have a new customer. I payed with VISA and I had not to send any ID or strange things, I do not know about other pay methods.

Bar none the worst online store I've ever had the unfortunate chance to deal with. They first take your money, then withhold the delivery until you "verify your address" by sending them a picture of your ID with your face next to it. How does that even verify my address? Disputed my PayPal payment and hopefully get my money back. I'm still in disbelief of their practises.

Tried to buy Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition the 15/May/2015. Paid via Visa, they sent me the id confirmation email, sent them the pictures, but after 16 hours waiting to get the code and multiple emails to their support -which they never answered- and even posting on their Facebook without answer neither I decided to cancel the order; sent email to inform them, they answered one hour later confirming to this, and they sent me a refund that I don't even know how will come to me. I'll never buy from this site again, and I recommend you against it.

Bad mistake...I had to wait for over one week for my paypal to clear the echeck (not gamesrocket fault) but when I finally thought I could enjoy my game, they need further verification for the order. At first, they sent me a link to verify by phone, which I'm totally fine with it, but it appears their system does not recognize area codes from Canada. If they wanted to do international business by having their dot com site they should resolve this issue, since I read a review before that 1 guy from the US had no problems with phone verification. As a result, they told me to verify by giving them photos of my passport etc, I find this really suspicious as I have never encountered such a procedure before (and they have my money already!). Asked for a refund because of this, and got back my money instantly the next day; the only good thing I could say of my experience... Not recommended if you live in Canada.
Just did the same god damn thing, will have to get a refund to by the sound of things

I paid via paypal with an account at Gamesrocket created with the same paypal verified e-mail address (which also uses two factor authentication) and still was asked to verify by phone, which didn't work for some reason. I then had to email the picture of my driving licene and me holding it to them and wait for 24hrs for my code (I ordered on a Sunday), which worked fine. Maybe if I had paid by Credit card it would have been OK (but then there is a 3% charge for doing so) I have no doubt they are legit but my god, what a pain in the bum just to order a game slightly cheaper than the next place. Maybe the next order will be OK (as supposedly you only ever have to do this once) - IF I order from them again. Dread to think how many customers this is putting off though.

All went well. Order went through and I got the 5-15 minutes waiting period message on my order. Fine. I can live with that. Then I got the infamous "verification" e-mail, asking me for the scans of my ID or passport, my signature and a picture of me holding my ID or passport. Of course, like any sane person, I declined to give them what are in effect keys to my entire identity. They did refund me my money after a couple of hours. So that at least they did right. I work in an insurance company and we have less intrusive checks on our potential clients than they do when a person wants to buy a game from them. I'll buy my copy of The Secret World at a regular price and just avoid this kind of treatment. Everyone considering buying from this site should think long and hard if potential savings are worth being treated like a thief and asked to provide information no digital distribution site has business knowing.
Pictures of your passport? You're an idiot man. That is not a 'key to your identity' any more than showing your ID to the clerk at the gas station to prove your over 21 is. Fucking retard.
Showing your ID to the clerk is not the same as printing a copy of it to him, you moron.

Got the "verification required" email after I paid. No indication that I would need to provide this up front. Paid with paypal, that might be the problem. They might be getting many chargebacks from paypal. But they don't accept mastercard so i couldn't pay with anything else. Whatever their requirements are and whether you agree with them or not is immaterial, the requirements should be up-front in the order process.

Cannot understand what everyone is moaning about. It took me 1 minute from placing the order via Paypal to having the CD code and download links in my mail inbox. No creepy confirmation through phone or sending in scans of passport and ID such as others have reported. Looks like they've cleaned up their act.

NEVER NEVER use this site, they ask for a scan of your passport, photo ID, personal photo along with filled out paperwork. AND they already took the money from paypal. No one should ever be silly enough to give this information out online, especially to some half sized never heard of no one company online. So glad I used paypal, it allows easy refute to the payments and puts bad marks on companies like this who shouldn't be allowed to use their service.
