This expansion for Anno 2070 takes place in a world ravaged by global warming. Different factions are trying to survive in this world tainted by pollution and the rising waters. Deep Ocean allows you to try and tame the rising waters. A new faction called Tech introduces a new class, the Geniuses, who will be able to develop production units in the abyss. In order to achieve this underwater conquest, you will discover a new type of energy with the Geothermal Powerplant. The 150 quests in the expansion may be disrupted by the new natural disasters, such as tsunamis. A co-op mode is available too. This first expansion especially focuses on seabed exploration.
