Watch Dogs is free again for a limited time.
The guys from Ubisoft seem to be decided to give a popularity boost to their gaming platform this month through several promotions that allow you to get their games for free. The first one becoming free for a limited time was World in Conflict, followed by Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and now it´s the turn for the first title of the Watch Dogs franchise. Watch Dogs was already free for PC earlier this year, but in case you missed that opportunity to get it you can do it now. Starting today and until December 23rd the game will be free, and all you have to do is to sign in or create a Uplay account to claim the game as yours. Oh, and the promotion also includes the previous two games. Both World in Conflict and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag are also available for free from today and until December 23!
For those of you that may be oblivious about the game, Watch Dogs is an open-world adventure set in a fictionalized version of Chicago, that follows the story of Aiden Pearce, a hacker seeking vengeance for the death of his niece. She died a result of a car accident that happened when some hitmen were sent to eliminate Aiden after a hacking attempt went awry. One year later Aiden has become a vigilante and using his hacking skills and he will try to find out who is behind her death, triggering a series of unexpected events that will end with him involved in something bigger than expected. The game also features several multiplayer modes.
