Ubisoft has revealed a brand new World video for the upcoming action adventure sequel Watch Dogs 2. The video sets out to highlight the in-game world of Watch Dogs 2, which is based on the city of San Francisco. This particular approach is described by the developer as a “world-first approach” in order to help create the best possible world before the game is actually made.

“It’s really important at first to create a city that feels alive. We speak a lot in Watch Dogs 2 about the world being a simulation and that’s really the fundamental aspect of it. We wanted the world to be non-player essential, meaning it will live without you being there. And once you go there, it’s a place to discover, live in, and play.”

Watch Dogs 2 is a highly-anticipated open world game set for release this month. The previous Watch Dogs game received a lot of criticism for several reasons following its release. These included graphical performance of the game and other visual issues, particularly on the PC platform. It was also criticised based on this from showcasing visual aspects of the game that didn’t seem present in the final product.

Watch Dogs 2 will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 29th.
