UK Charts Latest – Call of Duty and FIFA 17 Remain Top

Charts

We discussed recently that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare may not have fared well at first glance, until digital sales for the PlayStation 4 suggested otherwise. Now however, it would appear that the latest entry in the CoD franchise has continued its dominance of the charts over in the UK, claiming top spot now for the 8th week running.

The current UK charts are as follows:

  1. Infinite Warfare
  2.  FIFA 17
  3.  GTA 5
  4.  Battlefield 1
  5.  Forza Horizon 3
  6.  Watch Dogs 2
  7.  Mafia 3
  8. Rocket League
  9. Pokemon Sun
  10. Steep

With Call of Duty’s eighth consecutive week at number one, it makes it the third most successful in terms of time spent at top of the charts, with Modern Warfare 2 sitting in second place and Black Ops 3 in first after spending 11 weeks on top. This may change quite soon, given the amount of releases set to drop in the near future.

Meanwhile, FIFA 17’s popularity is highlighted by current sales, as it sits in second place in the charts. Titles such as Battlefield 1 and Forza Horizon 3 have also maintained places in the top 10. A more surprising entry is Rocket League, as the indie game continues its phenomenal run since its release, looking strong as it places in eighth as the smash hit goes from strength to strength.
