Battlezone Gets A Free Content Update

Battlezone Gets A Free Content Update

Battlezone launched five months ago, around the same time when PlayStation VR got released, and ever since then many players tried the game out and destroyed hundreds of enemies in their tanks. There was a lot of fun to be had in the game, but as time passed by we already completed all the content and moved on. Well, now is the time to play it again as it's getting a lot of new content, and almost all of it is free!

Difficulty modes have been fleshed out more, so now we have a more forgiving Beginner level and a hardcore Extreme level for players that like a really hard challenge. The ones who manage to tackle on the Extreme level and survive will earn a brand new Trophy and three new tank loadouts, but to earn each loadout you have to beat the Extreme level three times.

Some new missions, maps, and events have been added to the Battlezone campaign. The new King of the Hill and Conquest missions sound exciting, and the new levels have a lot of lava in them, so we can expect some fiery battles there. All of this was added for free.

Battlezone even got a new enemy that we will face, the evasive Jet. This foe will patrol around the arena with its machine gun, so be careful.

Don't worry, we also got a new weapon that could come in handy when dealing with the Jet, and that is the Railgun, a powerful weapon that charges up and then fires a single devastating shot that can tear enemies apart! Also, don't miss the Play with the Devs session that starts tomorrow at 9:00 AM Pacific to play with the creators of Battlezone!

Free content is always nice, but the developers also added some new tank skins and bobbleheads, so check the PlayStation Store to see the new ones.
